What Forest Creature Are You?

Its a lot of fun being a little ghost. Ah... they are so cute!

Feb 02, 5:00pm

Hi everyone,

I know that I haven't touched this place in forever but, here I am again.

Sept, 10:30pm

Oh, I need to go to bed soon. :) But I thought I would show off this my new meezer, Dustbunny. Isn't the name adorable? She is a little bunny too. I adopted her to be a mate to my meezer, Toon. She's from Apricat, a small site thats coming along nicely. :)

Aug 02, Noon

Whoohoo! It's Labor Day! I get to stay at home and have BBQ. Yum.

I haven't had time to do this in a while... but I want you introduce you to some of my new petz. :)

This is Desmond. Ooooh... ahhh... isn't she pretty? I love fall colors. I love her colors! She is my first dane. Check out my petz, you'll see that its true. Oh, I like danes but I like dallies more so. I never really thought I would have a dane. But I HAD to make an exception here. I was in love with this one. I got her from Blink. Thank you!

Meet Dyre. She is so amazing. I got her from Animal House. I sent her Windfall when she wanted a black tamsin with pink eyes for her female blue, Cricket. And she sent me Dyre, one of their first puppies. Woohoo! I've always wanted a blue dally with pink eyes and now I have a tamsin.

Torrent from Chinook! Awww... and I mean that from the heart. I love so much about this little beauty. I better not get started. Obviously, I'm back in the dally craze. Love them.

Say hi to everyone, Blu! I bred this guy myself. He's only 3rd gen but I'm a sucker for double spots on the nose. I've never quite understood why people want their dallies to have FEWER spots. lol. Maybe I'm just cracked. He's part of my new line of SilverToo dallies. Hopefully, a lot of them will have those pretty blues. I think I will register him and show him off.

Ashes... for my persian collection. He is handsome! I love mixies like this. He was sent to me along with his sister by Kerry of Veedub... who was very sweet to give them to me. Thank you!

This is Lizz. She is 100% hexie and inbred free from Solar Kennelz. I love her. Spotty all over- cream and blue-eyed. Yess... Ok. Grey eyes. But they look somewhat blue on my monitor. I will register her when she is older. This one is for hugging close while reading a good book.
July 31, errr... late

I finished my new look! How do you like? Ok... I have to admit, I was pretty depressed with the last one. It was too dark. Yes, I know there are a lot out there that like dark (and I like visiting their sites) but for my site, I thought it was too depressing. Halloween on the other hand. :)... I love the petz community at Halloween. There are a lot of petz sites out there that know how to do it right. I plan on doing the dark then. Mhahahaa!

July 31, still later

Here I am breeding litters and wondering how this program came to be so frustrating. I remember there was a time when I was ecstatic over every petz born but now that I breed litters for my website... well. Things are a bit more frustrating.

So yaay! Petz 5 is coming! With litters. Rumour has it that even though there will be litters, it will still be difficult. But I don't care. We were not forgotten... there will be new faces, new sites, and new breedz!

I sat down and really thought about the breedz I've wished for in the game. For catz, I would like to see the Havana Brown, Japanese Bobtail, Ragdoll, Somali & Ocicat. For dogz, I'm hoping for airedale, pug, whippet, ausralian shepherd and mastiff. Any of them would make me happy. :)

Oh and pit bulls and yorkshire terriers would be nice. Hey, I actually met them in person. They are a lot more than what the media gives them credit for. I really thought a pitbull would be well, dangerous. And I was really afraid of this pit bull that greeted me at a party. Eeeekkk... its going to eat me!!!!

Well, how could I not think that? He put my entire hand in his mouth and grinned at me. But the owner said he was a nice doggie, and when he didn't rip my hand off, I began to believe her. In the end, I had more fun playing fetch with the dog than I did the other guests. He was sooo cool! Oh, even still, I have to say, never ever reach out and pet a strange doggie unless you are assured that its friendly. Just a word of good advice.

The yorkie belongs to my boyfriend's co-worker. He is such a wonderful dog. I thought yorkies were all priss, hair and ribbons. But this one had a hair cut and such a personality. He makes friends by bringing out all of his toys. Guests are special to him and he treated me like his best friend. And when he jumped into my lap and I looked into his eyes, there was such intelligence there. I was astounded.

June 7 7:45 pm

Remember how I said down below that I prefer catz? Ahem, well I was wrong! I fell in love with tamsins in a big way! And did a lot of adopting and breeding over the past two weeks. Just look below. :)

The very first tamsin I adopted from outside my own petz was Tigger! I got a nice little application for one of my petz and a request to trade for Tigger! I was startled... but thrilled cause I never would have thought of adopting an orange one myself.
Now that I have him -I can't imagine not having one. Thanks nai!

To the right is Quatre! Isn't he the cute one? I fell in love with those eyes. Well, I think he's special with or without spots. He has a very stunning additude and likes to put on a good show. Show name Antoniette's Progressive Equation

Quatre -->
My dream tamsin was suppose to have light eyes. But when I saw this guy, I knew I was wrong. I can't wait to show him. :) Skyrocket's Spell Crafter... or something like that. Thank you, meaghababe

<-- Archmage

This is Kilia. I adopted her from Starswept. :) I just couldn't contain myself. She's so cute! I love her mysterious eyes and her cuddly ways.

Kilia -->
My final newly adopted petz is Order from the old Vintage. Yep, I couldn't resist this kitty. I don't know why he was named Order. But I found the name intriguing. Those eyes. Oh wow. I feel so lucky to have him.

May 14 9:55 pm

Awards! I have awards! Look at them :)

I keep all of my awards here.

May 14 8:46 pm

It's the 14th of May... already? I've been so busy. I have a new fish tank... oooh look at the pretty fishes. Putting that together was a lot of work. It has plants and three goldfish. Its an upgrade from my old 20 gallon tank. My boyfriend put cichlids in the 20 gallon. They're called rams and remind me of seashells and ... oh, wait... I'm rambling.

Anyway, I got a comment or two about not having many dogz up for adoption. Errr... I'm not a kennel but hey. I really thought about what kind of mixies of dogz I like best... poodles, dallies, scotties. Yea. And then I thought about the kinds of mixes that actually look good. Dalmations and danes...? Dalmations and mutts? Oooh... I like dalmations and mutts. I saw a mostly black one once. It had a dalmation body and a striking white nose streak. I loved it. Then a year later, I followed the link trial to Starswept. All I can say about that is... Tamsin.

Currently, I only have one up for adoption in the natural litters section.

May 2 9:12 pm

Hmmm... over the course of three weeks, I adopted 4 petz. I'm still a little confused about what I might have been thinking. Now I have well, just too many petz. But anyway - I love them all. And now I know for sure that I prefer catz over dogz. Uh-oh.

The first petz is Murphy. I love his black and grey fur. IMG... how could Tikki let him go? Awww, he's way at the top of my favorites list. :) Well they all are, but anyway...

Next is Kacie. She has an amazing, very earthy fur coloration. Her eyes remind me of a little stream. Can you believe she was a freebie at Splitters? Actually, there are a lot of great adoptions at Splitters. But I've licked them all so you don't want any.

She doesnt know about the Beetles? The white and brown mixie is Ringo! Well, he has rings... so you know... Anyway, he's from the Magma Cat and he's sooo cute and such a freebie. :)
Finally, I have 11. I umm... will probably rename her. She is a second generation mixie. And I bet you can't guess what of. Oh go on... guess. Anyway, I saw her at Mosse and thought, well, that I kinda liked her. And I like her even more now that she's wandering around my desktop. Yes, she'll do for another day. :)

Hmmm... Murphy and Kacie are all grown up. But they forgot to tell me! One moment they're kitten wrestling and when I walk back into the room, there's a giant red heart on the screen. What!?! Sure enough, they're adults. Murphy!!!

I've never had catz fall in love so fast... and so unexpectedly. The hard part will be keeping them apart.

Apr 17th 5:48

Two new petties! The meezer is Toon and he was adopted at MEEZER. I think he looks amazing with those red points. He looks like a little devil.

The other is named.. Fight! At first I almost passed him over, then I did a double take. I love his contrastiness. And all I had to do to get him was write about my favorite charactor from the movie, "The Lord of the Rings." That would be Sam. Ok... it wasn't that easy. I really thought hard about it. But I had fun. Oh, and I got him from Splitters. :) Go check out her site...

Apr 9th 5:20

Ahhh... I just couldn't resist adopting of the hexed persians at Silmaril any longer. Sam below is gorgeous. Isn't he? :)

Where's Frodo?

Apr 9th 5:00

I just wanted to show you guys the Easter gifts I got over the holidays. I wish I had had the time to put them up. :) I love them! Thanks.

LOL... I took this quiz and they gave me the following code to paste into my site. Well, its nice so I did it. It was not really written by me. They just made it look that way. But do take the quiz. It was fun and I was very honest. I wonder what question set me off as a gold dragon...?

----------------

A GOLD Dragon Lies Beneath!

I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Gold Dragon on the inside. My Inner Dragon is the most honorable of all. Golds are the third rarest of all the dragons (after Platinum and Chromatic dragons) and have a station in society that reflects their rarity. I am what one might call a Draconic Knight. Golds live by a strict code of chivalry and commitment. Remember Draco? Yep, Gold Dragon. My appearance is fearsome and all-mighty but I'd never stoop so low as to bring any harm to a human. I'm one of only two dragon types that are aligned "Lawful Good" and demonstrate great magical proficiency. My piety, beauty, wisdom, and inner strengrth are absolutely without parallel.

Of course, being a Gold Dragon isn't all high ethics and codes. I like to fly around scaring things, advise humans in their affairs, and shapeshift. Strike that, I LOVE to shapeshift. And I'm great at it. In fact, who's to say I'm not really a Gold Dragon after all? My favorable attributes are honor, truth, kindness, gold, wisdom, bravery, and trustworthiness. If anyone threatens or tries to kill me, I could strike back with my breath weapon - Fire. But then, no one's tried anything that stupid in the last couple thousand years. After all, I'm about 54 feet long.

----------------

Mar 16th 5:45

OK...totally different kinds of questions. Totally different site. And I'm still rated as a gold dragon. Isn't that strange? Well I think it is. OK... its been a dull Saturday. Sue me. Below is the link if you want to take the quiz. Be warned... kinda 'R' rated.

Take the What Color Dragon Should You Ride? Quiz.

Mar 16th 6:15

OK... here's another one. Last time I swear! :) I'm having too much fun. This one discovers what D&D character you really are. I pasted the code offered to me below.

----------------

I Am A: Chaotic Good Elf Ranger Paladin

Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Paladins are the Holy Warriors. They have been chosen by a God/dess to be their representative on Earth, and must follow the code of that deity, or risk severe penalties. They tend towards being righteous, but not generally to excess.

Deity:
Solonor Thelandria is the Chaotic Good elven god of archery and the hunt. He is also known as the Keen Eye, the Great Archer, and the Forest Hunter. His followers respect nature, and only hunt when needed, but are quick to defend the forest from intruders. Their favorite weapon is the bow, and they tend to be extremely talented with it. Solonor Thelandria's symbol is an arrow with green fletchings.

Feb 28th 11:45

Well, here I am breeding away for my selective breeding program. I have a really good couple and I know that their kittens will be the final eight. Their kittens breed true. Yes! But for some reason, this is the hardest part... getting the last two females. Arghhh! Its driving me nuts.

I've never tried this before, and if I didn't think the kittens wouldn't be so great, I would quit now. I may be the only one that thinks this project is worthwhile. I hope not... but at least I can say I did it and feel proud about it. Thats my breed. :)

Dec 24, 2:02

At this very moment I'm watching a black cat climb an old oak tree to see if she can catch one of the ravens above. She is tiny compared to them. Now they are chasing her! Poor kitty! Here's the scene... A black cat high up against a vivid blue sky surrounded by flapping winds. When they sweep by her, it almost looks as if she is the one with a pair of black wings. Don't worry, she came out just fine.

Eeek! I'm positively strutting! An award from Bloo!

Dec 05, 11AM

I just wanted everone to see my new petz, Bailey and Beauty!

Baily was adopted from Chinook. Her dali adoptions are mind blowing. I love how the dusty, blue and grey all work together. I've wanted one like him for a long time.

I'm Bailey

Beauty was adopted from FreeStyle, a very lovely site. I love all kinds of wonderful things about her. Mostly, I love her ancestry.

Beauty... yes yes... thats me alright

Dec 02, 11AM

An award from Lucky Kennels. Thank you!

Dec 01, 11AM

I'm adding a few more pets to my adoption center this morning. I think they are pretty cute.

Nov 15, 01 9pm

I just have to do another book review. This one is called "Building Really Annoying WebSites". I have read lots and lots of html books and travel all over the internet to discover interesting ways to do new things. This book, however, was one of the funniest I've ever found. It talks about all the things we can do to really, really annoy someone. It also has a lot of cool javescripts, popups ect.

OK... you're thinking, "Boy she's nuts!"

But aren't you tired of people dictating to you not to this on your website and not to that? Blah, blah blah!

This book tells you how to do it all. Oh sure, you get the feeling that the writer is just a tad bit sarcastic and looks down on frames and pop-ups. But a good idea is a good idea and there are several in this book.

Do you want to see a sample of an 'annoying webpage'. I made it myself and it's really annoying. Hehehe. Click Here.

Nov 08, 01 9pm

Yaay... kisses petz. Legolas and Roses had a cream kitten. He'll be in the adoption center soon.

Oct 30, 01 10pm

:( I was hoping so much that Legolas and Roses would have a kitten with a unique coat color. Instead, the kitten is all white. Oh! He is cute and I am sure that he will have nice kittens but this breeding project is really hard!

Ok... now thats out of my system. Ahem. There will be no more whining coming from my direction. :)

Oct 30, 01 10pm

I just glanced over at my book shelf and realized... I have a lot of books. Maybe I have too many. Anyway, I suppose that if I am looking for something to write about; I could always plug my favorite books once in a while.

So. Today's favorite is Sabriel by Garth Nix.
I really enjoyed this one. The lead character, Sabriel, is a necromancer. She can meet the dead, deal with the dead and do it very effectively. The story is mysterious and enchanting. Its not macho girl vs. the evil monsters. She is strong and smart and very... human.

And we must not forget her fluffy, white, green-eyed cat (Mogget). If you've never read this book before, I promise you that you will love this cat.

Oct 10, 01 1am

Ok... I've never inbred a petz myself. But sometimes I think that we all act a little crazy when we worry about other people who inbreed their petz. The only reason why I don't inbreed my petz is because I really don't have a good reason (yet) and because it makes it harder for good petz to find new homes.

In reality, inbreeding is how individual breeds in dogs, cats, hamsters and others come about. Breeds like the doberman, scottish fold, fantail goldfish, and teddy bear hamsters are all results of breeding plans that included inbreeding. If people had not done that, we would not have the huge variety of breeds that we have today. No siamese, no himalayans, no fantail goldfish, no teddybear hamsters, no poodles -we would have none of them.

To be fair to those who are opposed to petz inbreeding, I will agree that there are those who are completely irresponsible and knowingly inbreed animals who pass on genetic deseases to their young. Thats horrible! Whats even worse, they do it for profit!

Also, for the most part inbreeding of a well established breed is unnecessary and pointless. By that time there should be plenty of unrelated animals to breed. Hmmm... but aren't all animals related in some way? Especially species (wolves and dogs) and breeds.

Responsible breeders love the breed and they wouldn't do anything to weaken it. Inbreeding is generally avoided unless they are trying to create a unique new breed.

Fortunately, in petz, there are not too many bad mutations that can occur. Puppies/kittens of inbreeding are safe to breed with your own petz. Nothing bad will happen.

And if you still cannot tolerate inbreeding, please do not take it out on the petz! Its not their fault. There is nothing wrong with them and they are safe to breed with our own petz and live happy computer lives.

Oct 10, 01 12am (about)

I have a thing about spotty petz. Aren't they the best? I mean... the whole reason why we want to adopt and breed our petz is to have a unique can't-touch-this sorta petz. Not only does a spotted petz look pretty but they really show off that individual factor. I love it. OK... I know that came out of no-where. I just felt like saying it. :) Maybe I should go to bed now.

Oct 10, 01 11pm

I am so happy to be back and working on my site again. Its been a long time so I wouldn't be surprised if no one remembers me. But for those who do... I tried and I am sorry. I really tried to get it all together again but I just couldn't. Too many things in my real life were going wrong. So, I was did lots of things that kept me busy and brought me closer to my real life friends and family. There isn't anything more to say about it.
