Hint #1 How do you know that you've sprayed your catz enough with the love potion? If you've just introduced your catz, then squirt them with the heart-shaped bottle. At first, they will act shocked and a little angry. Do it a few more times and they just might start to do a show pose. Once that happens, you know that they are now open to the idea of falling in love. A few more squirts helps to seal the deal. And hey, while all this posing is going on, why not snap a few pictures? Just remember to give them some time alone with no distractions. Some petz take longer to fall in love than others.
![]() Hint #2 Younger adult petz take longer to fall in love than the older kind. If you have a young couple, don't expect too much. Just bring them out once or twice a day, let them kitty wrestle and squirt them a few times with the love potion.
Hint #3
You know that they hate each other. They hiss, spit and fight. I mean really fight, not just kitty wrestle. The first thing you need to do is try to tone down the fighting. If there is a real fight going on, put them both away and then bring them both out again. Distract them from fighting again by bringing out a bunch of the rolling balls. When they start to play with the balls and ignore each other praise them by petting every time they catch a ball. Don't pet too long or the other one will get jeleous. Eventually, they will become so intent on the balls they will forget to fight. When that happens, you have to wean them away from the balls. Pet one and then quickly pet the other, bring out treats and spread them all over the floor. These things will make your pets comfortable with each other. This may take a few days to do.
Once your catz learn to tolerate each other, you have to teach them to like each other. The fastest way to do that is to use the love potion. See hint #1. They will resist at first and you might have to go through the whole procedure again, but thats how to do it. Hint #4 Petz (especially persians!) are often born overweight. Its more than a little embarassing and its also hard to control. But there are things that you can do to make your petz waddle less. First make sure that your petz is actually overweight. Basically the petz will waddle when it walks. Check to make sure that the petz isn't pregnant. Don't call an especially fluffy petz or big-boned petz fat! If it waddles, its overweight. Nothing else counts. To get rid of the waddle, you must play with the petz (a lot). After you've fed and cared for all of your other petz, take out the waddler. Pet the petz and make sure it trusts you. No name calling (fatso... ect.). Call the petz to your hand and praise it everytime it comes. Offer the petz one healthy treat. You would think that nothing to eat would be better but thats not the case. You must limit the food but not starve the petz. They won't lose weight at all that way. However, if the petz refuse to eat it. Don't try to make them. Offering the food seems to be good enough. Next take one rolling ball and your petz to an outdoor scene (my favorite is the Wild West). Teach the petz to catch the ball by petting it everytime the petz jumps on the ball. Once the petz become obsessed with the ball, sit back and enjoy. Sometimes the petz will act tired, offer it water but also encourage it to keep playing. Pushing the petz is key to weight loss. Do this once a day (normally 2 days) until the petz suddenly begins to walk normally. Its best to start out as kittens/puppies, but you can help adults this way too. Not all will lose the weight. You will just have to love them anyway. But honestly, I have never had a problem getting them to slim down and the waddle almost never comes back. You'll grow quite attached to your petz if you do this right. There are a couple of petz in the adoption center that I have done this for and I may do a few more in my spare time. But if you want the petz now... well you'll have to do it yourself. Don't worry, its fun and you will feel as if you really accomplished something. Hint #5 Daily care. So what are all the things that you have to do to keep your petz happy? Well technically, all you have to do is open the program, take them out, give 'em a pat on the head and then put them back. Not much fun there for you or the petz. Hey why not go to the library, check a book out and NOT read it. There are many things that you can do with your petz. The more you do with them, the more they will respond to you. Here are some 'musts' if you want your petz to be a show pets.
One of the most important things you can do is offer the petz food and water. Petz that don' eat or drink will look too skinny and unhealthy to win in a show. Another thing you must be sure to do is brush your pet. This can really make a difference in the way your petz look.
Play with your petz. Take them to the beach, see the sights, laugh at the silly things they do. You will feel much better for it. Hint #6 Equal attention for all. Its easy to fall in love with one petz and forget to take care of the others. But if you want to prevent runaways, its best to pay attention to all of your petz and not just the few. If you have too many petz in your program to care for, I suggest you remove a few of them and start a 'rotation' going. A rotation is when you divide your petz up into groups and remove half of them from the 'adopted petz folder'. Create another folder to hold the extras in. Switch the petz in and out of the extra folder and make sure that you play with every petz in the adoption folder when you open the program. Life is easier when you can take your petz out two at a time. But first you have to teach them to share ;)
