About this Site...

I will openly admit that my site was inspired by silmaril. That happened years ago. Since that time, the owner has evolved her style and creates even bigger and better layouts. Very cool. Anyway, hats off to Rebecca. I don't really know her very well, but I have to respect her art. :)

My goals for this site are to:

This site uses frames, css, and javascript.

It looks best in Internet Explorer with at least a 800x600 resolution. However, its also perfectly viewable to Netscape users too. I don't know about AOL. Must you use AOL?

Errr anyway... I created this site using notepad, 1st Page, PhotoShop and a lot of web resources. Below is a list of a few of them. I hope you find them useful. :)

In the corporate web world frames are a big no-no. Every good web design book will tell you that. So you have to use things like ASP and PHP to update sites in any sort of reasonable manner. Also, getting things to work in both Netscape and Explorer is a must even if you have to write two seperate codes for both. Spelling and grammer errors should never happen. Keep graphics to a minimum but make sure that the site is visually appealing and agreeable to the marketing department. And it goes on and on...

Well, this is a personal site. :) While I will admit those things are very important, there is no way I can do all of those things and keep doing it indefinately for free. Personal sites are allowed their own kind of freedom. You can write what you want, do what you want, and not have to worry too much about what other people think. I'm not saying that you shouldn't worry about those sorts of things if you want people to come to your site. Its just that you don't have to worry about it. The only time you have to worry about it is when you've invested millions of dollars into your site and no one comes. Then *ahem* you have to worry.

However, I would be happy if only a few people came to my site every once in awhile. Just show me that you are paying attention by dropping an email, adopt a petz or enter a show.
